I lead the IT project and program portfolio at Sonesta. From July 2025 until the committee was disbanded following the October 2026 layoffs, I chaired Sonesta's AI Steering Committee, setting AI strategy and governance across all 13 brands. IT PMO leader with nearly 20 years across hospitality, gaming, and financial services. At Sonesta I lead the IT project and program portfolio, its governance, prioritization, and delivery. I chaired the AI Steering Committee, setting AI strategy and governance across 13 brands, from July 2025 until the committee was disbanded following the October 2026 layoffs.
That governance work was pointed at AI during the committee's run. As committee chair, I ran AI intake and approval with Legal, IT, Finance, and Operations, so every use case cleared the same bar before it reached a property. I also launched AI@Sonesta, the internal community that helped teams across the brands use AI confidently and responsibly.
Recent work includes the $63 million network modernization program and the Vingcard RFID lock rollout across 86 owned properties, completed with no general contractors and recognized as a runner up in Hospitality Technology's 2025 Hotel Visionary Awards.
Before Sonesta, at MGM Resorts, I took the $35 million City Center network replacement from red to green and delivered it on time and on budget. PMP certified. I write about hotel IT leadership, PMO honesty, and where AI actually helps the people on the floor.

One AI strategy and one governance framework for 13 hotel brands. From July 2025 until Sonesta disbanded the committee following the October 2026 layoffs, the committee I chaired decided what got built, what got bought, and what did not ship, so AI landed where it helped the people on the floor instead of adding noise on top of their work.
I set AI strategy and governance across all 13 Sonesta brands, one framework instead of thirteen separate experiments, with the same standards applied to every use case while the committee was active.
Every AI request ran through a single intake and approval process, reviewed with Legal, IT, Finance, and Operations before it moved. No shadow tools, no surprises.
Governance only works if people use it. I launched AI@Sonesta, the internal community that helped teams across the brands use AI confidently and responsibly in their day to day work.

Door lock modernization across 86 owned properties with ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions Vingcard RFID systems. Run entirely by the internal IT PMO with no general contractors, and completed in December 2024. Hospitality Technology published the full case study, “How Sonesta Modernized the Basics.”

Took the entire City Center network replacement for Aria and Vdara from red to green, completed on time and on budget, with in room switch deployment finished in 2.5 months against a 5 month projection and no guest impact in peak season.
Joined as Project Manager in May 2021 and promoted four times in five years, to Senior Manager of Portfolio and Program Management in March 2026, leading a team of project managers and reporting portfolio health to senior leadership.
